Demonstration on assistive devices such as magnifiers, phone amplifiers, vibrating alarm clock, talking watch, & kitchen utensils just to name a few.
Presented by Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging. Part of their mission is to increase access and awareness of assistive devices available to people of all ages and disabilities to reduce or remove barriers and increase independence in performing tasks of daily living.
Kevin and Susan will lead this dance that includes a mix of freestyle and line dancing. No set price for the event, but a $3 donation is appreciated to support future programs at the senior center. Ice cream bar with toppings will be provided by Maplewood of Danbury.
