Memory Resource and Support Center Series Offering Expert Guidance and Personal Perspectives on Dementia
Whether you are looking to deepen your knowledge of dementia care, seek support and guidance, or simply learn more, the Candid Conversations series offers a safe and welcoming space to engage in meaningful conversations with experts and individuals. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of dementia and the resources available to support those affected by it.

Stephen Armstrong is a State Historian for CT, professor at Central Connecticut State and an aficionado of all things 50s and 60s. He will lead a discussion on the music of the 50’s and 60s while showing videos of artists from that time period. Students from the music department of WCSU will play a mixture of popular music from the early to mid-20th century as well as jazz standards. No sign up required.
Conor Brennan is a drummer and Jazz Performance major at Western Connecticut State University. He will be performing jazz standards as well as tunes from the American Songbook with his trio. The trio consists of Chris Arnone on guitar, Matthew Munzner on bass, and Conor on drums.

Dance and social party with DJ Kevin Burland of Old Man Rhythm. Freestyle and line dance to your favorite music of today and yesterday. Even if you don’t dance this is a great opportunity to come back to the Senior Center to socialize and see old friends. Cake and Coffee served.
