Come join the fun for the Annual Easter Extravaganza at Putnam Ridge on Saturday, April 8, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM!
This free event will feature variety arts entertainer, Jackie Reynolds, who is an very amazing and talented magician and ventriloquist to entertain ALL ages from 11 AM to 12 PM.
Bring your smile and camera for another very special guest that will be stopping and hopping by…the Easter Bunny!
In addition to free face painting, Easter crafts, games, refreshments and more, the Putnam Sheriff’s Office will be issuing free ID cards to children as part of “Operation Safe Child” from 10:30 until 12:30 PM.
Putnam Ridge is proud to host this free community event on its beautiful campus located at 46 Mt. Ebo Road N., Brewster, NY.

The CT Agricultural Experiment Station will present on the final Spring Nature Series Program here at Elmwood Hall – Danbury Senior Center on
Thursday, June 15 at 1:00 pm.
Mark H. Creighton, Apiary Inspector, will focus on modern beehive structure and describe the communal organization of bees within a hive. The life cycle of worker bees and basic bee genetics will also be covered.

Spring and summer is a great time to be working in the garden for beauty and foods, but you might encounter a number of puzzling issues. Dr. Yonghao Li with The CT Agricultural Experiment will answer and discuss some common questions about general care, pruning, water management, fertilizing, and disease control in lawns, flower gardens, small fruits, and vegetable gardens.
