Field of Dreams

“If you build it, he will come.” These are the words Ray Kinsella hears as he builds a baseball diamond in his Iowa cornfield. The ghosts of great players, led by Shoeless Joe Jackson begin to appear once the field is complete. As Ray gets to know them, he realizes these players all missed out on their dreams in one way or another, allowing him to look deep into his own regrets. The film stars Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta, James Earl Jones, Amy Madigan, Burt Lancaster and Timothy Busfield.
